Our Physicians

Nalini Nauth-Otello, M.D., FAAP
Nalini Nauth-Otello, M.D., FAAP Dr. Nauth-Otello was born in Brooklyn and raised in rural Long Island.  She obtained her B.A. degree in Biology at Vassar College followed by her MD degree from Stanford University School of Medicine in California.  She received her Pediatric residency training at Children's Hospital Oakland (California) from 1997-2000 and has since then been a pediatrician at Pine Street Pediatrics.

Dr. Nauth-Otello also provides well care clinical services for the Ulster County Health Department. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is certified in Neonatal Advanced Life Support.  Clinically, she enjoys the whole spectrum of pediatric care including adolescent medicine and infectious diseases.  Her hobbies include family time her daughter, husband, and two German Shepherds, as well as dancing, playing board games and hiking.


Brett M. Macaluso, DO, MPH, FAAP
Brett M. Macaluso, DO, MPH, FAAP Dr. Macaluso was born and raised in Dutchess County, NY.  He is a graduate of Muhlenberg College, 1984, where he majored in biology and Russian Studies, and proceeded to study medicine at NY College of Osteopathic Medicine, 1988.  After a year of general internship in Oakland, Michigan, Dr. Macaluso completed his pediatric residency at NY Medical College in Valhalla, NY, and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  Further studies in maternal and child health earned him a Master of Public Health at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Previous pediatric work experiences include Friedman Rehabilitation Institute for Children in Ossining, NY, Raleigh Pediatric Associates in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Mid-Hudson Family Health Institute in Kingston, NY.  Dr. Macaluso has practiced at Pine Street Pediatrics since 2001. He has been a team leader on two medical mission trips including Youth With a Mission to the Dominican Republic, and The Christian Medical and Dental Society to Honduras. Dr. Macaluso is married and has three boys.  He takes pleasure in his family, the outdoors, and gardening, and is active in his local church.

Peter O'Connor, M.D., FAAP
Peter O'Connor, M.D., FAAP Doctor O'Connor has been practicing Pediatrics in Kingston since 1998. He was raised in Essex Fells New Jersey and received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Richmond in Virginia. He then went into the Peace Corps in Ecuador South America and following the Peace Corps was a social worker for foster care at Saint Vincents Services for Children in Brooklyn NY. He then took his post baccalaureate premed courses at Drew, Seton Hall and Georgetown Universities and received his MD from Saint Georges University School of Medicine in Grenada. Internship and residency in Pediatrics were completed at Saint Vincents Medical Center in Manhattan. He lives with his wife and three sons and enjoys the Catskill Mountains and the Hudson River Valley very much. He previously served as Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Benedictine Hospital.

Danielle Cigliano, D.O., FAAP
Danielle Cigliano, D.O., FAAP Dr. Danielle Cigliano grew up in the Hudson Valley and joined Pine Street Pediatrics in 2006. She graduated Manhattan College with a B.S. in Biology where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She attended medical school at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and finished her post-graduate training at the Children's Hospital of New Jersey. Before coming back to New York she worked in general pediatrics for 2 years in New Jersey. She is board certified in Pediatrics. She resides in Saugerties with her awesome husband and daughter and loves to cook and eat.
