Dr. Sprenz originally hails from the town of
Massapequa, Long Island. She left at age 17 years for the greener pastures
of upstate New York, obtaining a Bachelor's of Science in nutrition from
Cornell University. After doing research for one year at Cornell
Medical College in NYC, she attended Albany Medical College, from which
she received her Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Sprenz spent the next three
years south of the Mason Dixon line, completing her internship/residency
at Duke University Medical Center. Shortly after completing her training,
she returned to New York State, and has been with Pine Street Pediatric
Associates since 1998. She enjoys all aspects of pediatrics, although
particularly likes treating asthma, as well as adolescents, who are always
interesting, and often entertaining. In her spare time, she enjoys
running when her knees allow it, as well as reading and cooking. Dr.
Sprenz is the adopted mother of two furry boys (cats) and dotes on her
three nieces.
